The project team assessed the as-is design flow request followed by the manufacturer and proposed to deploy a configurator to offer ease in visualization and quick TAT.
- The team studied design inputs and developed master models and the automation engineers developed logical rules
- The UI for design was developed in such a way that it was continuously in sync with the SQL database which enabled creating real-time 2D and 3D view of the washroom
- A complete 3D preview with sketching functionality, room building and insetting cubicle were developed in the configurator to be displayed
- This was in-turn connected with Autopilot mode to generate SolidWorks models in 3D which allowed the user to design every washroom with preferred choices and layout
- Once the customer confirms the order it would generate relevant 2D shop drawings for each component, 3D models as well as sales quotes
