1. Project Description :
The client had sent us Photograph in JPEG format. The drawings had to be converted to Solid Model in ACIS, STL and STEP format.
2. Volume : 4-Different Model, Window inserts, Chassis for Train coach.
3. Software Used : Pro/Engineer and Solid Works
4. Challenges faced during execution :
All coaches of train had to be a prototype model of real coach subsequently the actual model had to be scaled down to 87.1 and minimum dimension was not lesser than 0.508 mm for manufacturing aspect. This made difficult in maintaining perspective model of coaches. Lots of changes from prototype’s’ view, dimensional limitation modeling practices, aesthetic look and etc. involved a lot efforts and time to complete it successfully.
